01

Know your board

Identify the exact board, camera module, power requirements, and programming interface.

Checkpoint: You can identify the matching camera configuration.

02

Set up the toolchain

Install the official ESP32 Arduino support and open Espressif's CameraWebServer example.

Checkpoint: The example compiles for your selected board.

03

Capture your first image

Follow the board's documented flashing procedure and inspect the serial output.

Checkpoint: Camera initialization succeeds and you can view a still image.

04

Connect on your local network

Configure Wi-Fi locally, open the device's reported address, and try the stream.

Checkpoint: Another device on the same network can open the camera page.

05

Document a working prototype

Record setup steps, board details, image settings, and recovery steps after a reset.

Checkpoint: You can reproduce the build and explain its limits.
